Make sure that the microphone is set as the correct device in camtasia recorder. click on tools > options > inputs tab and make sure your microphone is selected as your device. make sure that the recording level is high enough. just below the audio device in the inputs tab you will see a input meter.. Record from video input using camtasia. is it possible, using camtasia, to record video being captured through a vga to usb device (so that the external screen video gets brought into the computer running camtasia)? but the bottom line is that you can capture the screen and the audio coming in via your soundcard -- but of course you won't. In my volume control panel i checked all 3 boxes under recording: microphone, line-in, and spdif interface. in the audio settings panel in the camtasia recording wizard the only audio device i can select is sigma tel audio. the audio imput choices are microphone audio and manual audio input selection.. Verify the audio device is plugged into the computer download and install the latest updates to audio device drivers in vista and windows 7 go to control panel > hardware and sound > sound > recording tab and right click to show disabled devices ..
